The Role

We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Epic Pharmacy New Town in Hobart, Tasmania. As a Pharmacist, you will provide pharmacy services to the community, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.

  • Educate and advise customers and staff on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and proper medicine usage.
  • Prepare prescriptions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Counsel customers on their medication (prescription and OTC) in an up-to-date, evidence-based manner.
  • Maintain relationships with local health professionals.
  • Have opportunities to advance your practice in non-sterile compounding, vaccination, oncology, and medicinal cannabis.
Requirements
  • You must be an AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian-based pharmacy.
  • Possess strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
  • Display a passion for customer care.
  • Maintain the high quality of service we already deliver.
  • Show excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team.

About the Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $160,000 AUD, based on national averages and industry standards.
