Construction Project Director

About the Role
This Senior Construction Management Professional will play a critical role in delivering our data center projects. As a leader in construction management, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management and oversight of construction activities for new builds or general capital projects in Melbourne.
- Driving costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality standards.
- Providing construction management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing data center resilience.
- Reviewing constructability of electrical and mechanical systems, and building designs for new data centers or existing data center optimizations.
- Creating project scope and equipment requirements, assisting with request for proposals, and capital requests.
- Total project quality, including commissioning and integrated system testing, and execution of the project.
- Issuing/Managing the Request for Information process during construction, and coordinating construction administration with engineers.
- Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management.
- Concurrently managing multiple projects, including new data center builds and capital improvement projects associated with existing data centers.
- Operational support of installed facilities, including review of procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.
