Job Summary:

Symmetry Human Resources Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Dandenong South. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Long Tyne forklift, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Long Tyne forklift to move goods within the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks and containers with precision and care
  • Inspect and handle stock to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Pick and pack products, scanning orders with attention to detail
  • Ensure all orders are picked and dispatched on time, meeting our high standards of customer service
  • Use all-around equipment within the warehouse to optimize efficiency
  • Perform general warehouse manual tasks as required, working collaboratively with the team

Requirements:

  • Current Forklift (LF) license with at least 1 year of experience
  • Previous Long Tyne linehaul loading experience
  • Previous warehouse experience, with a strong understanding of OH&S principles
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling, with a focus on safety in the workplace
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel cap boots, long pants, and high-visibility polo top or vest
