Job Title:

Geospatial Security Professional

Job Description:

The role involves the assessment of ICT security documentation against ISM compliance requirements, gap analysis and compliance analysis against the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), architecture and security model assessment, information system reviews, threat and risk assessments, provision of advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards. The professional will also assist in investigating security-based events, recommending appropriate control improvements, and developing new architectures that mitigate risks posed by new technologies and business practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Familiarity with the Information Security Manual
- Experience with assessment of ICT security documentation against ISM compliance requirements
- Experience with gap analysis and compliance analysis against the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Experience with architecture and security model assessment, information system reviews, and threat and risk assessments
- Ability to provide advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards
- Experience obtaining and acting on vulnerability information and conducting security risk assessments/business impact analysis
