About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intermediate Accountant to join our team at Charterhouse, a Top 100 AFR Accounting firm based in the South East suburbs. As a people-focused firm, we pride ourselves on putting our employees and clients first.

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to service a portfolio of clients, including ASX listed, international clients, and complex multi-entity groups. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements and taxation returns for companies, trusts, and individuals.
  • Assisting with solving taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7.
  • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity statements.
  • Attending client meetings with the Manager or Partner.
  • Assisting with client queries directly.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting or similar).
