We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team in Rowville.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all HSE matters on the site and drive continuous HSE performance improvement while ensuring that all HSE activities are in line with the Site Safety Plan and National Safety Plan.
  • Manage workers' compensation and return to work programs for injured employees within the site.
  • Drive safety improvement through initiatives, training, and coaching as well as initiating, coordinating, and delivering safety training programs leading to safety performance improvement.
  • Assist site teams to investigate all incidents and accidents to ensure they get to the root cause.
  • Support the management of site trade waste compliance.
  • Maintain a strong operational 'presence' across the site, coaching and mentoring team leaders and managers in safety processes.
About You:
  • Formal qualification in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Formal training in return to work coordination is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience in understanding of relevant HSE regulations and standards.
  • Display strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and oversee HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives. Your insights and guidance will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety consciousness and environmental responsibility.
