The Role:

We are seeking an experienced part-time retail security team member who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a passion for the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference.

This position is based at The Pines Shopping Centre and requires the ability to provide security services and support all establishments' tenants, guests and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building key tenant relationships and managing access
  • Responding to client requests in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the site
  • Managing emergency situations and demonstrating proactive security awareness

Work hours are as follows:

Wednesday to Saturday: 12am to 8am

Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience and appropriate certification within the following areas:

  • Current VIC Full Security Licence, including crowd control where applicable
  • Apply First Aid Certificate
  • Provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  • Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery which comes under your control
  • The ability to complete reports using various platforms
  • Excellent presentation, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Valid work rights in Australia
  • Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours
  • Availability across 7 days/nights
