Lead Painter and Event Host

Are you a skilled painter and charismatic host looking to share your passion with others? Do you enjoy creating a fun atmosphere and entertaining a crowd?

We are seeking freelance artists to lead our Paint and Sip sessions in Brisbane City. As a Lead Painter and Event Host, you will be responsible for:

  • Guiding up to 30 painters step-by-step through a featured painting
  • Creating a dynamic atmosphere for all participants
  • Having an outgoing personality and entertaining a crowd
  • Assisting participants during the event
  • Setting up and breaking down the event
  • Communicating with staff and being a team player
  • Taking photos of the event
  • Promoting social accounts and other workshops and classes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Outgoing personality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and entertain a group of adult beginner painters in a social atmosphere
  • A smartphone capable of getting on the internet or digital camera

This is a part-time position requiring a strong long-term commitment. Ideal candidates will be able to travel to different locations, including wineries in the hinterland, and own a car to increase availability for shifts.
