Culinary Leadership Opportunity

In this key role, you will lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences across various events. As a leader, you will be instrumental in shaping the culinary reputation of a luxury hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations for conference and event spaces, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food every time.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to design menus that reflect the hotel's luxury positioning and seasonal creativity.
  • Mentor and motivate a high-performing team of chefs to consistently exceed guest expectations.
  • Work closely with events, F&B, and sales teams to deliver seamless and memorable events from concept to plate.
  • Monitor and manage food costs, supplier relationships, and kitchen efficiencies while maintaining uncompromising quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a chef de cuisine or senior sous chef in a luxury hotel or high-end catering environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team to success through a caring and coaching approach.
  • Creative flair and passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and practice of food hygiene standards.
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
