About the Role

We are seeking a Planning Lead to manage scheduling, planning, and reporting for multiple infrastructure development projects. This position will play a crucial role in monitoring project progress, managing project dependencies, and providing insights to optimise timelines and enhance the overall development schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Scheduling and Reporting: Develop and maintain a centralised system for project scheduling, reporting, and analytics to provide visibility into project performance across the organisation.
  2. Collaboration and Data Analysis: Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, project accountants, and other stakeholders to gather data, including schedules, progress reports, and resource utilisation, and analyse key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  3. Project Risk Management: Conduct regular reviews of project schedules, critical paths, and dependencies to assess project risks, optimise resource allocation, and mitigate schedule delays and cost overruns.
  4. Reporting and Presentations: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing project performance, including schedule adherence, budget utilisation, and milestone achievements.
  5. Advanced Scheduling and Data Analytics: Utilise advanced scheduling software and data analytics tools to develop predictive models, scenario analyses, and simulations to forecast project outcomes and support decision making.
  6. Process Improvement: Coordinate with project teams to implement schedule adjustments, reallocate resourcing, and streamline processes to optimise project delivery and minimise scheduling conflicts.
  7. Standardisation and Training: Identify opportunities to standardise scheduling processes, tools, and templates across projects to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in project scheduling and reporting. Provide training, guidance, and support to project teams on scheduling software and processes.
  8. Industry Knowledge and Leadership: Stay informed of industry trends, best practice, and emerging technologies in construction scheduling, reporting, and analysis. Embody and model ClearCompany's DNA and Leadership Fundamentals.
  9. Cultural and Operational Leadership: Provide cultural and operational team leadership, mentor, and impart knowledge to junior staff.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. Previous experience working in PMO (ideally construction) and demonstrable experience of planning, scheduling, and analytics across complex projects.
  2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, specifically MS Project.
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels and different geographies.
Essential Requirements

Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level.
