About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parks and Garden Labourer to join our team in Joondalup. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining local parks, ovals, recreational areas, verges, and land.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining local parks, ovals, recreational areas, verges, and land.
  • Gardening – planting, removing, mulching, mowing, and edging.
  • Weed control, median spraying, broad acre spray, and spraying of firebreaks.
  • Operating equipment – trimmers, blowers, hedgers, tractors, brush cutters, blowers, and vans.
  • Operating irrigation systems, repair and fault finding.
  • General maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Australian Driving License (MR/HR Preferred).
  • AQF3 Chemical Accreditation (Highly Desired).
  • National Police Clearance within the last 12 months.
  • White Card.
  • Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificate.
  • Chainsaw ticket (desired).
  • Qualification in Horticulture (Highly Desired).
