Job Overview
The role of the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is to oversee the maintenance and management of critical infrastructure systems across various sites. This includes monitoring, maintaining, and managing vital systems such as building management systems, HVAC, security and access control, fire protection, backup power, and emergency lighting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain critical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, access control, security, fire protection, backup power, and emergency lighting.
  • Oversee routine maintenance of critical infrastructure and property services, including low-value maintenance procurement.
  • Ensure regular site management tasks are completed, including checklist management, reporting, and facilitating repairs for faults or breakdowns in line with government procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive manual for managing critical plant, equipment, and building elements, including routine maintenance planning and assessments of general conditions.
  • Contribute to strategic maintenance planning, providing expert advice on facilities-related matters.
  • Respond to emergency scenarios, ensuring swift and effective resolution to critical infrastructure breakdowns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facilities management or critical infrastructure maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, building management systems, security systems, fire protection, backup power, and other essential infrastructure systems.
  • Ability to conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with government procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
