About the Role

Select Builders Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to contribute to the design and planning of future projects in the Melbourne region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize CAD software to create precise drawings incorporating measurements, calculations, building codes, and construction details.
  • Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects from sketches or notes.
  • Produce CAD drawing schematics for use by construction managers, structural, and maintenance engineers.
  • Prepare drawings, charts, and records using CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
  • Correlate, interpret, and modify data from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports.
  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and engineering data to ensure conformity to design concepts.
  • Conduct field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations to obtain data for revising construction drawings.
  • Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
