About the RoleThis Medical Imaging Technologist position is based at the Alfred Hospital, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic examinations, ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety.
The role involves working in a film-less PACS environment with state-of-the-art equipment across various patient types, including inpatients and trauma. The radiography department is accredited with RANZCR/NATA standards and provides a wide range of medical diagnostic services.
Responsibilities- Providing high-quality radiographic examinations to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Working in a team environment to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for A.I.R Validated Statement of Accreditation
- National Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist
- Victorian Department of Health Use Licence
- A competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum (pro rata)
