Design Engineer for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical systems and components for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have expertise in interpreting system requirements and standards to develop innovative solutions. This will involve performing hand calculations and utilizing computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools, such as finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Detailed designs and supporting documentation, including drawings and bills of materials, must be developed by the selected individual.
- A well-planned approach is required for validation testing of sub-systems and/or components, involving drafting test plans.
About You:
- A master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
- At least 10 years of post-graduate experience in engineering is expected.
- Familiarity with low and high-volume manufacturing methods, including sheet metal fabrication and CNC milling/turning, is necessary.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma and V-Model development cycles is also essential.
