Job Title: Legal Counsel – Defence

About the Role:
Axiom Talent Platform seeks a highly experienced lawyer to collaborate with our team in supporting a prominent FAANG company and the Department of Defence. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in public sector contracting, minimum 8 years of legal experience, and be based in Canberra or open to relocating.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance; NV2 is preferred.
  • Have at least 8 years of legal experience, including a minimum of 5 years in public sector contracting focused on significant classified technology implementations with Defence.
  • possess a strong background in both private practice and in-house roles, preferably with a cloud provider or systems integrator.
  • Be based in Canberra or willing to relocate to Canberra.
  • Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
