Senior Finance Manager Role

Integral Senior Living

This is a key finance interface position between the finance team and the business, responsible for supporting the overall financial management of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior management to achieve financial outcomes
  • Coordinate financial management and projections in accordance with company policy
  • Establish cost accounting structure for projects
  • Provide finance interface between Integral Senior Living and customers
  • Supervise and coach team members, including setting goals and providing feedback
  • Deliver timely and accurate project financial results and status
  • Participate in project scheduling and product reviews
  • Prepare monthly reporting and commentary on financial changes
  • Investigate and follow up on variances
  • Responsible for forecasting and budgeting/planning
  • Attend monthly project/business review meetings
  • Liaise with project managers to control project costs
  • Ensure integrity in project information and estimates
  • Keep the business informed on billings, retentions, debtors, and cash flow
  • Assist in preparing bid summaries for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure project accounting processes comply with Corporate Sarbanes-Oxley procedures
  • Work within company policies, processes, and guidelines
  • Establish performance metrics to monitor business performance
  • Advise on financial analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Provide support to the Director of Finance and Senior Management
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Qualified CA/CPA or equivalent with 5+ years post-qualified experience
  • Skills/Experience/Knowledge: 8 years project accounting or management accounting experience, excellent computer and advanced Excel skills, knowledge of project-based environments
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Ability to understand detail and identify areas for business improvement
  • Ability to be an influencer and integral member of the Finance Team
  • Able to cope with change and conflicting demands
  • A proactive decision maker, able to work unsupervised
  • Exceptional analytical and interpretative skills
  • Ability to produce quality written and verbal commentary
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional time management, ability to lead and effectively manage a team
