IT Specialist Role

Vacenti is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join their team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the integrity of our technology infrastructure.

  • Maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in the maintenance of our server environment to prevent downtime and data loss.
  • Monitor and maintain networks and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Procure and configure hardware according to organisational standards.
  • Manage mobile devices and ensure backups are functioning correctly.
  • Help develop and update policies, procedures, and documentation related to IT.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to the development of new initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Australian driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
  • A personal philosophy that aligns with Vacenti's values of honesty and integrity.
  • Highly developed communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • The ability to work in a busy environment and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when communicating sensitive information.
  • Basic knowledge of IP networking, including DNS, routing, and switching.
  • Basic knowledge of printer and other hardware deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across various platforms and devices.
  • Relevant industry certification or tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Information Technology.
