About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our Digital Ventures team at Medibank Private Limited. As a key member of our mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern, beautiful, and creative iOS apps that meet business needs and delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across iOS app development.
  • Collaborate with the team to help solve customer problems through deeply understanding the technical capabilities of the platform.
  • Work across the digital and venture teams to assess system requirements and specifications, identifying and addressing any potential issues prior to implementation.
  • Design technical solutions for assigned technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot problems, share knowledge, perform code reviews, and process improvement reviews.
  • Create and update application documentation to ensure efficient support and assess the impact of future change requests.
  • Enable procedures for reporting on the progress of systems development projects, taking action to deal with exceptions, problems, and unforeseen events in a timely manner.
  • Maintain awareness of current Information Security standards and ensure all activities comply with the standards.
About You
  • Relevant industry experience in a similar role using Swift for iOS app development.
  • Experience with highly modular architecture and understanding of design patterns.
  • Usage of modern Swift features and a keen interest in using new modern practices.
  • Experience working in an agile team utilizing Scrum or Kanban.
  • Good understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and building high-quality solutions.
  • Any experience with UIKit/SwiftUI and RESTful API consumption.
  • Experience working in an autonomous team environment.
