Event Service Attendant

We are seeking an exceptional Event Service Attendant to join our team. As a front-of-house professional, you will work in cocktail parties, sit-down dinners, boardroom meetings, and festivals.

Job Role Overview

The ideal candidate will deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring the correct items are served and providing attentive and professional service. You will be responsible for preparing areas before service, setting tables with cutlery, glassware, and condiments, and clearing tables promptly after service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver orders to tables efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of service quality
  • Prepare areas before service, including setting tables with all necessary items, and clear tables promptly after service
  • Evaluate cleanliness and hygiene of the area, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment for guests
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and proactive manner
  • Collaborate with other food and beverage attendants and management to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Support special events, banquets, or functions by providing food and beverage service as required
  • Maintain compliance with food safety standards, responsible service of alcohol guidelines, and any other health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment

Requirements:

  • Current RSA competency card
  • Previous experience in venues and private homes (an advantage)
  • Excellent attitude and punctuality
  • Ability to carry 3 plates and clear 5
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, offering 5-star service standards
  • Immaculate and smart grooming from head to toes
