Warehouse Worker

Fuse Recruitment is seeking highly skilled Warehouse Workers and Packers for an ongoing role in Blacktown. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Client:

• A National brand specialising in furniture products, based in Blacktown

• $33 p/hr + Super
• Opportunity to work overtime at $33 p/hr
• Chance to secure a permanent position after 3 months of service

The Role:

This is a varied role where no two days will be the same. Your duties will involve:

• Picking and packing orders of furniture products
• Pick to Paper picking method
• Manual handling and palletising stock
• Loading and unloading trucks / containers by hand
• General warehouse cleaning and waste management
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and matching customer orders

You may also be required to perform assembly tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring accurate paperwork and customer order matching
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
• Collaborating with team members to achieve warehouse goals

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or related environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 kgs (2 person lifts) and work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge and adherence to safety protocols
