Emergency Medicine Specialist

As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care across a dynamic and diverse department. You will be instrumental in contributing to teaching, training, and supervision of medical staff, actively participate in service development, and engage in patient safety and quality initiatives.

This department provides a stimulating case mix, with:

  • 50,000 presentations annually
  • 25% paediatric presentations
  • Significant trauma exposure
  • Regional referral centre responsibilities, including aeromedical retrievals and telehealth support for rural hospitals
  • Access to a 15-bed Short Stay Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, and modern imaging services
