**Job Summary**

As a Corridor Management Specialist with the Department of Transport and Main Roads, you will play a key role in delivering specialist technical support, advice, coordination, guidance, training, and mentoring to deliver Corridor Management activities in the Darling Downs District.

  • **Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide advice on the application of the Transport Infrastructure Act and other relevant legislation and practice in relation to TMR's Corridor Management responsibilities.
  • Monitor and respond strategically to new and emerging Corridor Management issues, ensuring consistency in close liaison with advisors and key stakeholders.
  • Support the development, management, implementation, and administration of efficient Corridor Management processes, practices, and guidelines.
  • Contribute to public engagement activities which promote effective and relevant liaison with community, local governments, and other major stakeholders about TMR's Corridor Management.

What You Will Achieve:

  • Assess and provide draft departmental responses to corridor management and other matters in a timely manner and within legislative guidelines.
  • Provide support to Project Planning, Development Facilitation, and Performance & Operations teams with road-related and stakeholder issues.

**Requirements**

  • Possess strong knowledge of transport infrastructure and corridor management principles.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment.
