Maintenance Planner Scheduler Position

Join a dynamic team in Alice Springs, Australia, as we seek an experienced Maintenance Planner Scheduler to develop and monitor work schedules, ensuring efficient and effective resource utilization of the site staff. The successful candidate will coordinate necessary permits and access authorities from stakeholders to facilitate timely and safe access to systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan work activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Determine and monitor resource capacities to enable the development of detailed schedules for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Prepare documentation required to access systems and equipment requiring maintenance.
  • Analyze metric data for potential efficiencies and improvements.
  • Collaborate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure organizational goals are realized.
  • Ensure CMMS data is maintained in an accurate and consistent manner.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in approach to completing planning and scheduling objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining and creating SAP PM Plans, task lists, strategies.
  • Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Experience in planning and scheduling role.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Typical office environment with no unusual hazards.
  • Occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication.
  • Constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
