Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an Accredited Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in providing integrated care to individuals experiencing mental health problems.

  • Provide advanced level clinical services including individualised and group clinical care based on professional training and current ethical clinical practice.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for complex and general caseloads.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, colleagues, patients/carers, and service providers to ensure effective communication.
  • Work with compensable bodies, financial institutions, and external care agencies as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to promote effective communication.

The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and hold current registration with the relevant professional body. They must also be eligible for a Medicare provider number.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver innovative programs that provide high-level clinical care to consumers in groups and individually.
  • Provide individual therapy and run groups, with experience highly regarded.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.

Compensation Package:

  • Pyschologist: $79,551 - $118,246 (pro rata if part-time), plus 12% Superannuation.
  • Social Worker/Occupational Therapist: $75,308 - $109,067 (pro rata if part-time) plus 12% Superannuation.
