About the Role
The Qantas Group is seeking an experienced Aircraft Performance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Operations Engineers to ensure the Aircraft Performance function is delivered to a high standard across the Jetstar network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on aircraft performance, including technical support of all aspects of aircraft performance to ensure compliance with manufacturers' manuals, company operations manuals, and relevant legislation.
- Work closely with our Jetstar pilots to support their pre-flight calculations and collaborate with other operational stakeholders across the business.
- Lead a team of 3 Operations Engineers to deliver the Aircraft Performance function to a high standard.
- Analyse and solve complex problems under pressure, using your expertise to drive results and improve performance.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly to various audiences, using your excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meet goals and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
