About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Risk and Compliance Lead to join our client, a prominent local health insurance specialist. This dynamic role offers an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support on risk management, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Drive projects and initiatives to ensure timely completion and effective implementation.
  • Review and develop policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date with changing regulatory landscapes.
  • Conduct comprehensive compliance monitoring activities.
  • Develop and implement compliance plans and obligations.
  • Offer strategic guidance on risk issues related to product initiatives and reviews.
  • Assist in incident management systems and processes.
  • Engage with executives across various business units to provide critical support and expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Risk Management within financial services.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulations, controls, and operations within the industry.
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General understanding of commercial practicalities and negotiation techniques.
  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to Risk Management, Compliance, or Law.
