We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to join our team at Quality People and Training Solutions. As an Apprentice Field Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of conveyor systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and replacements of pulleys, gearboxes, and bearings on conveyor systems.
  • Conduct inspections to identify faults, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports and service records.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair work preferred, not essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's license essential.
