Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the delivery of our optometric practice and business management unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and practice management services while also contributing to the academic success of our students.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective unit curricula and learning materials in collaboration with teaching teams.
  • Design and deliver engaging teaching practices that align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Establish clear assessment criteria and provide timely feedback to learners to ensure they meet learning outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Optometry.
  • Proven ability to teach in a university environment and possess experience in business management.
  • Demonstrated commitment to scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire others.
  • Able to work collaboratively with partners from various sectors including government, external organizations, and professional bodies.
