Job Title: Associate GovCMS Drupal Software Developer

Calleo is seeking an experienced software developer to join our team in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with GovCMS and Drupal.

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of ongoing extensions. The successful applicant will work on website sustainment, management, and enhancements for a large Federal Government Agency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage website enhancement and sustainment projects using GovCMS, Drupal Theming with Twig, and PHP Theme pre-processing.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI specialists to implement web designs, styles, and branding that meet user and business needs.
  • Maintain information architecture and improve it as needed.
  • Oversee publishing workflows and content updates.
  • Provide technical advice to senior management and implement solutions to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience designing, developing, and enhancing websites on GovCMS (Drupal version 10).
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility requirements, SEO, and other aspects of web development.
  • Ability to work with application management software and tools to collect performance statistics.
