Kindergarten Improvement Advisor Role

This senior position plays a pivotal role in the implementation of Best Start, Best Life Reform within the Loddon-Campaspe Area.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with kindergarten providers and early years professionals to embed Pre-Prep, School Readiness Funding, and Early Years Learning Networks.

To excel in this role, you will require substantial experience and expertise in early years pedagogy and practice. Additionally, you must possess the ability to facilitate practice change at both service and system levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with funded kindergarten providers and services
  • Utilizing data and evidence to identify and address the needs of services related to educationally disadvantaged children
  • Developing collaborative relationships within the community
  • Staying current on research and developments in the early childhood sector
  • Coordinating meetings and networks
  • Implementing quality assurance measures to ensure the successful delivery of early childhood reforms

Requirements:

This role demands a deep understanding of quality early childhood pedagogical practices and knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Desirable qualifications include a relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or a related discipline, as well as recent relevant experience in an early childhood setting or other transferable knowledge and skills.
