Job Description

Bankstown Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join their dedicated team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to assess risks, mitigate harm, and respond swiftly to alarms and requests for support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate harm

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multicultural team to achieve shared goals
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a current Class 1A Security License with the NSW Security Industry 1997
  • Possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)
  • Participate in a 7 day rotating roster that includes weekends, public and school holidays
  • Elaborate on how your skills and experiences align with the role requirements
