Wilmar, a leading food manufacturer, has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our Mackay Port facility.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging and bagging machines, as well as providing maintenance support for equipment within your trade skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging and bagging machines
  • Perform warehouse and despatch duties
  • Provide maintenance support for equipment within your trade skills
  • Assist with ship loading duties, including connection and disconnection
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine and equipment faults

Requirements

  • Trade electrical certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in an operating environment
  • Previous plant equipment operation experience is highly desirable

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time role based at our Mackay Port facility, with a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts. Overtime availability is also often available. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for best practice and teamwork.
