Seeking a highly skilled and experienced C# developer to join our Core Trading Technology team in Sydney.

The Core Trading Technology team is responsible for delivering highly available applications used to support trading decisions. This includes a rich mix of proprietary software covering trading analysis tools, market & static data feeds, trade monitoring and real-time messaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse requirements and implement software solutions that meet the needs of traders, research, and technology teams.
  • Design and develop applications using C# in a server-side system environment with a focus on multi-threading.
  • Collaborate with junior team members to help them grow and improve their skills.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the capability of the Core Trading Technology team and its applications through technology, automation, and other means.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of C# experience in server-side systems, including multi-threading, as well as client-side development.
  • Previous WPF experience is an advantage.
  • Understanding of web technologies, HTML, and JavaScript, with previous experience with ReactJS and TypeScript also being advantageous.
  • Experience running and deploying .NET Core applications on Linux would be beneficial.
