Job Description:

The Financial Strategy and Reporting team leader plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's financial future.

  • They provide guidance and leadership to a team of three direct reports, ensuring they are equipped to meet their responsibilities.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting to senior management, the Department, and Queensland Treasury.
  • Key tasks include the preparation of annual internal and external budgets, as well as ongoing monitoring of organisational performance to identify risks and opportunities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required. A postgraduate qualification would be highly regarded.
  • Significant experience in financial strategy and reporting, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
