About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching.

Job Description

  • Craft and lead a dynamic education program for 3-year-old children, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with our Centre Manager, Assistant Manager, and team members to create a nurturing environment that supports the growth of children and families.
  • Manage classroom activities, ensuring a lively, educational experience every day.
  • Support, mentor, and inspire educators to deepen their understanding of the curriculum and embed a culture of ongoing reflective practice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the team, families, children, and the wider community.
  • Share passion and enthusiasm for creating educational, interesting, and inviting play spaces, linking to the curriculum.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent, recognised by ACECQA.
  • Experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, skilled in VEYLF, EYLF, and NQF.
  • Senior first aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis certifications.
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching registration (VIT).
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
