Warehouse and Distribution Specialist

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our large Distribution Centre team based in South Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift, loading/unloading trucks and containers, and performing general storeperson duties.

The ideal candidate will have a valid LF license with over 12 months of experience, be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs repetitively when required, and possess a positive and reliable attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating the Counterbalance Forklift
  • Loading/unloading trucks and containers
  • Receiving and Consolidation
  • Warehouse Labouring/heavy lifting up to 25kgs
  • Use of Tuggers and Pallet Jacks
  • General storeperson duties

Requirements:

  • Valid LF licence with over 12 months experience
  • Physically fit and able to lift repetitively when required
  • Positive and Reliable attitude
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Willingsness to learn new skills and follow instructions
  • Heavy lifting up to 25kgs
  • Available to work Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility to work hours between 09:00 - 17:30 Monday-Friday (potential overtime available)
