Terranova Nursery, a leading horticultural maintenance and landscaping services provider in Sydney, offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced greenhouse specialist.

Salary: $60,000 - $79,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our garden maintenance team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in gardening and be proficient in the use of power gardening equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Mowing, edging, hedging, and blowing lawns

· Controlling weeds, watering, and green waste removal

· Soft landscaping - installation of new plants, replenishment of soil and mulch, and installation of drip irrigation systems

· Preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass or laying instant turf

· Shaping tree branches using chain and handsaws

· Spraying and dusting plants and trees to control insects and diseases

Location:

The majority of properties serviced are located in the inner city and southern part of Sydney.

Requirements:

· Current driver's license (to drive automatic utility vehicle)

· Proficient in the use of power gardening equipment

· Minimum 2 years' practical experience in gardening

· WHS White Card (or willing to obtain) with awareness of safety procedures

· Responsible and positive attitude with enthusiasm for the role

· Good attention to detail

· High level of physical fitness

· Good work ethic - punctual, reliable, and honest

· Excellent time management with ability to work to a schedule

· Friendly, outgoing manner with ability to communicate with onsite contacts and building managers
