About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic Services Engineer to lead innovative projects from conception to completion. As part of our dynamic team at WSce, you'll be responsible for creating cutting-edge engineering design solutions, managing project execution, and providing technical expertise through commissioning and implementation.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality design solutions for medium to large-scale projects, ensuring precise and comprehensive technical outputs.
- Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Produce detailed technical drawings, calculations, and design reports that adhere to all relevant Australian standards.
- Conduct research and validate design solutions using advanced techniques to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Analyse existing designs, identifying areas for improvement and optimising performance.
- Provide detailed handover documentation to the construction team, ensuring thorough attention to detail.
- Conduct site inspections, review contractors' work, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with project team members to review contractors' shop drawings and RFIs.
- Manage project data, time records, and finances, providing regular status updates and resolutions.
- Adhere to project budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks to delivery and scope.
We're looking for an exceptional individual with:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering (a Master's degree is highly regarded).Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, preferably in consulting.Extensive expertise in engineering principles and innovative design solutions.Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with compliance requirements and design standards.Ability to introduce new clients through network contacts.Proficiency in design and project management software.Knowledge of practice management systems and project management concepts.What We OfferIn addition to a competitive salary of $AUD 140,000 - $170,000 per annum, we offer:
