
Full-Time Small Animal Veterinary Nurse

- As a Veterinary Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative team working alongside experienced vets and nurses who are passionate about patient care and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our veterinarians with routine exams and procedures, providing high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Deliver pre- and post-operative patient care, offering support to clients during difficult times.
- Administer medications and prepare treatments as required, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Manage the admission and discharge process for surgical and hospital patients, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Communicate treatment plans and updates to clients, building trust and rapport through effective communication.
- Perform blood collection, testing, and IV catheter placement, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant techniques and best practices.
- Support dental care, including scale and polish and performing dental x-rays, staying current on advances in dental technology and techniques.
- Contribute to day-to-day nursing tasks to support our vets and team in providing exceptional patient care.
About You:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in small animal practice preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence in all areas of general practice.
- Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Team player with a friendly and positive attitude.
- A genuine love for animals and their people.
