About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at APM. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based assessment and therapy to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans to support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children in our clinics, homes, schools, and via telehealth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, teachers, and other professionals, to ensure seamless care and support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, providing them with education, support, and resources to enhance their child's development.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy, incorporating new knowledge and skills into your practice.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working with children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
