About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at APM. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based assessment and therapy to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans to support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children in our clinics, homes, schools, and via telehealth.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, teachers, and other professionals, to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, providing them with education, support, and resources to enhance their child's development.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy, incorporating new knowledge and skills into your practice.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
