About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and driven Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to join our team at the Chandala Processing Plant in Muchea, Western Australia.

As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced team members, learning and developing skills throughout the 4-year apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure efficient operation
  • Assist with mechanical equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair, and modification
  • Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and participate in safety training
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Pre-apprenticeship in Mechanical/Construction/Engineering
  • Successful completion of Secondary Education (WACE)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug & alcohol screen

A 9-day fortnight with the 4th year of apprenticeship moving to 12hr day/night shift. Relocation to the Muchea area is required, with reliable transportation necessary.
