About this Opportunity

We seek an experienced Blow Moulder Operator to join our Production team at Harvey Fresh.

Reporting to the Production Manager, duties include operating adjusting and cleaning blow mould and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications operational and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.
  • Minimise wastage including product packaging process inputs time and chemicals and report excessive wastage to the Coordinator.
  • Maintain regulatory company and quality systems through completion of operating logs downtime recording Cleaning in Practice CIP testing and recording.

This role requires a team-oriented and skilled operator who is self-motivated and able to work varying types of shift work and overtime as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment highly regarded.
  • High level of attention to detail good fault-finding/trouble-shooting skills.
  • Strong focus on quality and hygiene.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes GMP and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points HACCP principles desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks.
  • Strong focus towards health and safety.
  • Experience performing labour-intensive and repetitive tasks.
