About the Role:

As a Mine Operator at Cement Australia, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of heavy equipment, including rigid haul trucks, front end loaders, and excavators. You will also be involved in conducting safety inspections, participating in toolbox meetings, and working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including rigid haul trucks, front end loaders, and excavators
  • Conduct safety inspections and participate in toolbox meetings
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain and repair equipment as needed
About You:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience and certification in operating heavy equipment, including rigid haul trucks, front end loaders, and excavators. You will also need to have the ability to prioritize and work to a plan, as well as a strong commitment to safety.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience and certification in operating excavators (PC850)
  • Crushing experience
  • High risk licenses, such as forklift
  • Experience with stacker/reclaimer systems, crusher, and rail loadouts
  • Mining, quarrying, and civil construction experience
