Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Safety and Security Professional to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a psychologist to utilise their expertise in assessment, clinical or forensic skills, and workforce training to support core security functions.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing whole-of-person assessments, managing a therapeutic client load, delivering specialized training, and contributing to team management of complex cases and organizational initiatives. Additionally, they will be expected to lead a portfolio area, develop and implement governance, provide specialist advice to leadership, and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver whole-of-person assessments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively. You will also need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to work in a dynamic environment.


Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Masters level qualification in psychology (Clinical or Forensic Psychology program)
  • Eligible for, or hold, current unconditional general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligible to undergo, or completing, a Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA) approved endorsement pathway in Clinical and/or Forensic Psychology
  • Eligible for membership with the Australian Psychological Society
