Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Clerk. As the primary point of contact for customers in the grocery area, you will be responsible for providing excellent service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with their purchases by answering questions and providing product information.
  • Help customers find products on shelves and answer questions about store policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, helpful, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment by restocking shelves, cleaning up spills, and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a grocery clerk is preferred.
  • Proven customer service or retail experience is an asset.
  • Great attention to detail and good communication skills are essential.

Benefits:

This is a casual role working afternoon shifts. A valid police check and driver's license are required for this position.
