Are you a customer-focused professional with a passion for innovation and forward thinking? Do you have experience in managing General Insurance products and a proven track record of delivering best practice products and services? We're looking for a Product Manager - General Insurance to join our Wealth Tribe at ING.

As a Product Manager - General Insurance, you'll be responsible for the General Insurance product suite and will work closely with external business partners and internal stakeholders to deliver customer-centric products and services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Representing the voice of the customer and having a strong vision on customer acquisition and retention strategy
  • Managing the governance of the insurance operations and working closely with our general insurance partner
  • Formulating and delivering on an integrated marketing plan with a strong focus on digital channels
  • Driving the development and implementation of a Joint Business Plan with ING's general insurance partner
  • Reporting on risk events and mitigating product risks relating to the customer, insurance partner, and regulatory obligations

We're looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience managing General Insurance products (5 years +) with a proven track record of delivering on customer needs
  • Proven experience in managing and governance of vendors
  • A risk management focus and a working knowledge of business controls and risk mitigation
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and detailed knowledge of competitor product offerings
  • Experience in reviewing and recommending product strategies
  • Experience in the Agile way of working, engaging with technical squads and organizing work in sprints
