Role:

As a Solution Architect, you will drive innovation in the energy sector by designing and implementing future-focused solutions for energy networks, with an emphasis on energy storage and grid intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop solution architectures for energy storage systems, including batteries and integration with third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Digital teams to deliver solutions that meet the organisation's digital ecosystem and goals.
  • Create high-quality design documentation and present solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Support innovation in data management, supplier interaction, and workflows related to energy systems.

Requirements:

Proven experience in large-scale solution architecture, with expertise in creating scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.

Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels, with experience in operational technology and cybersecurity standards.

TOGAF or similar architect accreditation is preferred, and industry experience in electricity distribution is essential.

Experience in CIM (Common Information Model) and application of IEC standards is desirable.
