Client Relations Specialist Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to support client relationships and contribute to the success of PR campaigns.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, identify their goals and develop strategies to meet those objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to execute PR campaigns, provide input on media outreach and strategy development.
  • Stay up-to-date on key issues, find relevant articles and discussion points for clients.
  • Build an understanding of both client and industry best practices, ensure they are adhered to and delivered.
  • Contribute to internal meetings, share ideas and suggestions to assist with new business pitches and planning.
  • Proactively build and develop relationships with journalists, influencers, and other industry professionals.
  • Assist in creating media lists, pitching stories, and crafting compelling content.
  • Support team members in managing projects, delivering clear and concise reports, and staying organized.
  • Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and experience in consumer PR or related agency work.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for fresh ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
