The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Albury. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for analysing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
• Apply knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry;
• Assist graduates with work and act as a mentor/buddy;
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
• Prepare documents for client meetings with Partner;
• Helps identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues;
• Prepare and analyse management accounting reports; and
• Conducts tax compliance reviews of tax returns and FBT returns.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major;
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
